The Patidar Samaj has supported Parshottam Rupala by putting up banners on Wadwan Road in the district town with the words that the ticket should not be cancelled. The district's local politics has heated up again with banners flying in support of Parshottam Rupala.

Parshottam Rupala recently addressed a gathering at a get-together of the Valmiki Samaj in Rajkot during the election campaign.
